Old Timey Films - It's a feeling, a sense of nostalgia, an emotional memory of a wonderful time gone by, kind of like watching your parents or grandparents wedding films.

Based in Boulder, Colorado (but we travel and shoot throughout Colorado and the U.S.) we are a dynamic film production company that takes a cinematic approach to Wedding Day filmmaking. Our retro cool wedding films have a classic 1960's era look and feel. They are magical. It's something to be experienced, something no medium other than film can capture.

We use traditional cinematic techniques and the highest-quality, professional Super 8 motion picture cameras (Canon, Nizo and Beaulieu) to capture the true wonder of the most special day of your life!

We film a wonderful story—your story. Without a shot list. Without the "pre-conceived moments" you are told you are supposed to have. We work to find the genuinely special moments that tell the small stories that make up the big story of your day. We are not cookie-cutter in any way!

Recording the whole event as if it's a business meeting is not what most people want to watch. It's tedious. It's long. It's not fun. Who really wants to sit through a 2-3 hour wedding video full of cheesy effects?

Short and sweet, your artistic Super 8 wedding film is a treat to watch with family and friends and on anniversaries. Like a good dessert, it's just enough to satisfy you (without replacing all your memories of the day).

That's truly what our films do—satisfy! We create wedding films that look like you want them to look—nostalgic, fun, artsy and timeless. We create an amazingly cinematic memory of your most special day, shot in glorious b&w/color on actual film, digitally edited, set to music and delivered on both DVD and the web.

The average running length is about 8-16 minutes, just long enough to remember the highlights of your day in a cinematic masterpiece where you are truly the star.

We book only 26 weddings a year (as all the films are shot by professional cinematographer Kenneth Wajda—his commerical film production company is Denver Boulder Video) so please call and reserve your date as soon as you are able.
